It appears that this is intended to make it official July 2007 Visa Bulletin rather than previous release which was "update" in anticipation of the ALF class action lawsuit. Friend agree with what you say, but the pain for Jul 07 Misser's is the maximum (Or atleast one of the worst) in the group. I just happened to miss the windfall because my labor was approved couple of months later. For individuals in our group being able to file for 485 is itself equivalent to getting GC as it enables us to get EAD & AP for self and family, if you ask us we don't mind paying the fee. We don’t know when we will reach the Toll Plaza for the 485 tunnel, or where it is right now or how far are we! Every year is part of hoping till the very end, only our optimism lives on.

My interpretation of:

Agenda of lobbying remains same. It doesn't change weeky/monthly or even annually. Country quotas, increase in EB gc numbers, portability issues. It is also on IV website. Please look. No more details other than that will be made available, unless a bill is on the floor, thats when you see the results. Results are hard to come by. Core cannot reveal roadblocks or mini successes as these are all detrimental to the effort.

Its been over a month and I haven't received my permanent license in mail. They keep giving temporary 20 day license asking me to wait. Anybody in NC who recently renewed license on EAD and still waiting to get the permanent license in hand?

Gurus,
I am about to switch jobs using EAD. I am worried that if my current employer revokes my 140, CIS may by mistake cancel my pending AOS. I am mentally prepared for this and talk to lawyer to be ready to file MTR in this case. However here is my question.
1. Will this immediately cancel my EAD? if so, I may have to resign.
2. If I continue working while filling for MTR, will it be illegal?
3. How much it costs to go thru' MTR process? How long it takes?
I read on some other website that denying 485 doesn't automatically cancel your EAD. Any inputs?

Found some interesting explanation about New interpretations on section 245(k). This has 180 days tolerance even if you continue work without legal status when in confusion, like the one you asked for.

I don't know what happens to EAD when 485 is denied (some says it remains valid) but looks like you get 180 days to fight using an MTR.

I feel IV actions are hurting EB3-I more than any one. It just my feeling. I contribited close to $500 and my time.
I understand your pain ( I am in the same boat ). EB3-I PD:June 2003. All we can do is keep the struggle going.
Why should you contribute, because if it wasnt for IV following up with Congresswoman Lofgren, your signature would simply read:
"PD Date: 03/2003 EB3,i140 aprvd from NSC: 09/2005".
