I have a offer from an employer and they say that they will be able to provide documentation for GC processing but will not be able to sponsor. What does that mean? Can i hire attorney for my GC processing(EB2) and pay the expenses by myself? What else would be required from the employer?

My 6years of H1 expires on Apr'2011. Company A filed for perm, perm went to Audit, Got 7th year extension which expires Apr'2012
Later, moved to Company B, got Change of Employer approved until Apr'2012.
Now I am going to India and need to get stamping. Will I have any issues in getting the visa stamping for 7th year? Please advice.
Both Company A and B are very big companies and I am direct employee not a contractor.
I have the CompanyA's perm screenshot and email, but don't know what its status, as i left the company and I am not in touch with them

Any advantage of opening an account on USCIS website to receive automatic case status updates? or I don't need to do that if I keep checking the status online by myself?
They send you and email if something changes, nice if you have a Blackberry/pda
If you have multiple cases i-129, i-131, i-140, i-485 you can see them all on one page, I find that easier to see LUDs in particular the "soft" non-action ones, but it's nice to know the file was touched.

Hi All,
Now I have some questions regarding the process after getting Visa. I have read threads about airlines and medical insurance on this forum.
I was wondering if someone can shed light on finally what is a good medical insurance to buy, my father is 65 and mom is 60 and both have health issues.
Please let me know which insurance to buy which will cover their international travel plus stay in US
Also, please let me know which airlines are good for parents. I am east coast. My parents will definitely need assistance and I am also looking for someway I can have some travel companion for them. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks a ton.

Bottomline - if you are considering converting your LC case from TR to RIR, then your employer must send an email to DOL by Jan 20th and complete recrutiment process by April 1 ( or else case will be closed without recourse to appeal).

The consulate cannot approve you for permanent residence if there are no visa numbers available. Priority dates apply whether you do AOS or CP.

Is there only one member in the IL chapter? I am sure we have several IV members from this state and nobody has responded. It is sad to see such response from members. IN order to get anything done, we all have to pitch in and help out.

My friend approved PERM in EB2 have qualification 3 year B.SC + 1 Year B.Ed + 2 year MSc. total 6 years of college, filed I-140 and was denied because of education. The labor is for Masters with 0-1 year experience. But they want 4 year degree prior to masters, citing EDGE database. Now the appeal is with AAO.
My question:
1. Do he can apply with the same labor for EB3 ?. What is the chance with two I-140 with same labor ?
( He filed I-140 for EB2 with that labor before 6 months of PERM certification. The PERM certified on April 2009 )
2. Or he need to do a fresh PERM with EB3 as a backup till the AAO verdict ? (takes 22 months)

I Lost my I797A (but having photo copy) . I want to go to my Home country on emergency for 2 weeks and return to US.
Will I get visa stamping with
1. Copy of I797A and Employee's related documents ?
2. Copy of I797A and Employee's related documents + Proof of Duplication Request ?
3. Whether Duplication form (I-824) Should be separately filed for L1 & L2 ?
Please guide me Immediately.

I'm creating a car game. i managed to get the car moving and all, but i dunno how to make the car collide with the obstacles when it hits it.
How do i make it such away that if the car overlaps the kind of obstacle i want, dont have to be simple shapes but mostly oddly shaped obstacles, it would stop. that'll be good.
